Technician - Full Time

Compensation: Flat Rate or Hourly Rate (depending on experience and/or preference)

We are looking for a full-time Technician who specializes in Harley-Davidson and American Motorcycles. This position has a lot of potential! Aside from learning alongside some of the most experienced in the industry, we offer competitive wages and year-round work.

Department: Service

Description:

Repair, customize, maintain, and diagnose Harley-Davidson motorcycles.

Qualifications and Job Requirements:

MMI Graduate OR 2+ years of Dealership experience.
General understanding of Harley-Davidson Products
Ability to use computer diagnostic tools
Dependable, organized, positive attitude and self-motivated.
Experience working in a motorcycle repair facility preferred.
Own your tools to perform the tasks required.
Valid driver's license with Motorcycle endorsement (NO DUIs considered)
Able to work Saturdays and overtime if needed.
Required to walk, push, and unload motorcycles. Frequently required to stand, lift heavy objects, and stoop
Must be able to provide proof of prior work experience.
Good communication skills and excellent attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

Must be able to accurately perform full and complete diagnosis on products in for service.
Must be able to communicate repairs necessary both verbally and in writing.
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to safety and quality workmanship.
The ability to follow safety guidelines both in the workshop and when out on test rides.
Proficient in meeting deadlines and completing work productively and profitably.
Abide by all shop policies
Follow company dress codes
Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
Maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees.
From time to time work evenings and extra shifts to assist in company productivity with minimal tardiness.

Qualifications:

Clean Driving Record
Motorcycle License
Must Pass a Drug Test

Preferred (But Not Required):

Owns or Owned a Harley-Davidson
Worked at a Motorcycle Shop/Dealership
